Very clean 2003 Ford F-250 Super Duty powered by the 6.0L Powerstroke turbo diesel and 2-wheel drive. This is a very clean, solid truck for its age and presents extremely well inside and out.
A number of parts have already been replaced during diagnosis, including the ICP sensor, IPR valve, crankshaft position sensor, and fuel pump.
One important thing to know is that the truck will start and idle perfectly and will sit there idling indefinitely without shutting off. The problem only shows up after the truck is driven and gets hot. It may drive for 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, or sometimes longer before it shuts off. After it shuts off hot, it generally needs a short cool-down period before it will restart.
The truck was diagnosed by a Ford technician, who determined that it needs injector O-rings replaced. That is the repair it currently needs. I have not completed that repair, which is why I am selling the truck as-is.
This is an early-build 2003 6.0 Powerstroke, and anyone familiar with these trucks knows the high-pressure oil system can cause hot-start and hot-stall issues when injector O-rings begin leaking.
The biggest advantage with this truck is its overall condition. It is exceptionally clean for a 2003 F-250 and is not a worn-out or beat-up work truck. It would be an excellent truck for someone familiar with 6.0 Powerstrokes, a diesel mechanic, or someone comfortable doing the injector O-ring repair themselves.

I want to be completely upfront about the issue so there are no surprises. The truck runs and idles great, but after being driven and getting hot, the injector O-ring issue can cause it to shut off and require a cool-down period before restarting.
Other than the disclosed repair, this is a very clean and good-looking F-250 that would make a great truck once the injector O-rings are replaced.
Selling as-is. Serious buyers only.
